Today, we played Roll-a-Snowman. The students worked in partners and took turns rolling a dice. The number they rolled told them what part to draw on their snowman (i.e. hat, nose, etc.) The first person to get a finished snowman won. Then, the other player was able to finish their snowmen too. Also, they had fun adding details to their snowmen when they were finished.
Last week, we did a fun Language Arts project with snowmen. We had been learning about -an words. We cut out a -an snowman and colored it in. Then, each student was given 3 snowflakes. They had to write a -an word on each snowflake. Then, we glued the snowflakes around the snowman and added some extra snow using white crayon. They turned out great!
Lastly, we celebrated two 1/2 birthdays today. Happy 1/2 birthday B and J!
