Peanut Butter and Jelly

We read a story called "Peanut Butter and Jelly." It's a great story about making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It's even set to a song. Today, we wrote out the steps for making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. We decided what step would come first, second, and so on. In the afternoon, we followed the steps and made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. We worked with a partner. When we were finished, we realized that we only had one sandwich and two partners! However, they knew just what to do. Cut the sandwich in half and share. I was so proud. :-)
We also celebrated J's 6th birthday. He brought in delicious cupcakes yesterday. Here he is in his birthday crown:
