Place Mats

We read the classic story "Stone Soup," and we are making stone soup tomorrow! Each student is bringing one item for the soup, just like the characters in the story. Today, we made place mats for our delicious meal. We wrote "Happy Thanksgiving" on our mats and used markers and stencils to decorate it. They loved the stencils! It was so quiet in the room as they concentrated on their drawings. :-) Stay tuned for pictures of the soup-making process tomorrow!
