Fun with Shapes!

We have been learning about our shapes in math.  We have talked about the circle, triangle, rectangle, and square.  We've talked about how many sides they have.  We've played I spy shape games around the classroom.  We have also used our shapes to make some patterns.  We are very good at sorting shapes too.  Yesterday, we sponge-painted with the shapes.  The students had a blast.  They loved using the paint, and they were very creative.  Here are some pictures of them sponge-painting:
