Cornucopias, Study Buddies, and a Birthday!

We practiced measuring with unifix cubes in math. They estimated how many unifix cubes it would take to measure the item. We measured the length of a small, white board, an eraser, and a wooden block. They did awesome! Their estimation skills are really improving too. Then, we made cornucopias for our hallway display. They thought it was a very strange word. In the afternoon, we made special poem and picture for Veteran's Day with our study buddies. Lastly, we celebrated another friend's birthday. We sang "Happy Birthday" and enjoyed yummy chocolate chip cookies.

Happy Birthday F!
