Kansas State Flags

Today, we made our own Kansas state flags with our study buddies. They had to cut out the state seal and color it the correct colors. Also, they had to glue the word Kansas at the bottom of the flag. They had a great time working on them with their buddies. They are currently on display in the hallway. We also began learning about the Kansas state symbols. We are in the process of making a special Kansas book that we plan to share with our study buddies. Of course, I will share it on the blog when we are finished. We are also very excited about our upcoming field trip to the Kansas History Museum on Kansas Day.
