A Bunny Trail and an Easter Egg Hunt

In math, the students received a large piece of paper with a "bunny trail" on it. The bunny trail was a pink strip glued to the paper. The students drew a bunny rabbit at the end of the trail. Then, we used uni-fix cubes to measure the "bunny trail." The student's strips were all different sizes. Then, we wrote the length of the bunny's trail and added details to our drawings. In the afternoon, we had an Easter egg hunt. B's mom kindly donated a bunch of eggs with chocolate in them. I hid the eggs in the front of the school, and we went on the hunt. When we got back to the classroom, we enjoyed our treats from the eggs.
